Josyula K. Lakshmi has a Bachelor’s degree in Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery, a Master of Science in Health Promotion, and a PhD in Health Promotion and Disease Prevention, and Gerontology. She has engaged in research, teaching, training, and student-mentoring in health promotion; environmental health; health governance; the workforce engaged in traditional, complementary and alternative medicine; road safety; communication; physical activity; nutrition; research methods and ethics; and ageing. Her study findings, analyses, and commentaries have been published in peer-reviewed academic journals, books, technical and general interest periodicals, and blogs. She has presented at numerous conferences, and participated as a resource person at training workshops and symposia.
