Dr. Janani S. Chary

Dr. Janani Chary is a dedicated public health professional with a Master’s in Public Health from the Indian Institute of Public Health, Hyderabad. Currently serving as a Research Associate under the Advanced Collaboration for Inclusive Early Childhood Development and Empowerment (ACECD) project at IIPHH, her primary interests lie in Public Health Surveillance, Maternal and Child Health, Health Planning and Management, Monitoring and Evaluation. Her public health experience includes developing and piloting resource materials for training ICDS and Health supervisors, Anganwadi workers and various frontline health workers at village, block and district levels, collaborating with various stakeholders, and conducting quantitative and qualitative research and implementation of community and facility level early childhood interventions. Prior to her public health career, Dr. Chary practiced for 6 years as a Dental Surgeon in Chennai and Hyderabad.
